The bed is outstanding! I did a lot of research online and shopping around town before I made the decision to purchase this air bed. My guest who suffers from back problems and is post heart surgery loved sleeping on it. She was able to adjust the comfort level to her liking. At home she sleeps on a firm mattress and the AREO bed was a match. She made the comment "WOW...I slept far better on this bed then my expensive bed at home and woke up with no back pain!" When I read in reviews by others that this air mattress was hard, I though it would be exactly what I wanted -- and I was not disappointed. My old soft traditional mattress was only agrivating my lower back (sciatica) problems -- but this new adjustable "hardness" air mattress has done the trick for me. My first impression was that the intended use was for "occassional" overnight guests, etc. -- but I have used mine nightly for 6 months, and have only occassionally had to inflate a little more air to keep it as firm as I like. The relief from the back pain is priceless...and the mattress was relatively inexpensive. I suspect this would also be an excellent buy for thos who suffer from allergies. --Dan, Thibodaux, LA

I've had this Aerobed Premier DuraSuede Air Mattress for just over a year. It got used once a week, on average. It was (and is) comfortable. However, it now has a slow leak, which means it doesn't stay inflated for an entire night. My understanding is that it has a one-year warranty. One reviewer also reported his mattress developed a leak just after the warranty expired. Ironically, it looks very well constructed. From other reviews, it appears there is a leakage/ballooning problem with the product (though mine exhibited no ballooning). It is said in one of the reviews that the pump has a 3-yr warranty. Had the mattress lasted that long, I'd have given the mattress a 4-star rating. It fills and empties very quickly, is quite comfortable, and "folds" up nicely. But it's durability--the very thing you buy it for--is questionable.

This was a very firm bed. It almost felt like laying on card board. So I sent it back next day and got another Aerobed that was much softer. The bed looked durable and felt durable but it's not something you can sleep on a day to day basis. I received the new product fairly quick but it was bad communication between UPS and the company. Other than the delivery issue, I only recommend this product if you like sleeping on very firm mattresses.

I had this product and used it moderately, no more than a dozen times. Just a year after the mattress warranty ran out its seams weakened and it started to balloon. It is now useless. I think the problem originated when the automatic inflation vent--the thing that keeps it from overinflating--stopped working properly. But even when I made sure it didn't overinflate the ballooning expanded, making it impossible to sleep on. Not very deluxe, and since the problem is with the mattress (which has a one year warranty) and not the motor (which has up to a three year warranty), it is not covered. Bad product, they must know the mattress has a short life-span. Do not buy this product.

I ordered & received my LoungAir last week. I had searched high & low for a chair that I could also use as a bed in my camper van. When I came across the LoungAir I was excited that it had the 4 positions and thought the price was reasonable compared to some products I had come acrossed.



When I received the LoungAir I was absolutely delighted with the look, function & quality of it! I have to say I love it!!! I have back problems and it is generally hard for me to get comfortable when resting and often sitting as well. I bought the LoungAir to be able to have a combination of chair & bed options for my camper van and it is prefect for that. What I didn't expect is for it to be so comfortable! Wow - Thank you so much to the makers of this product! Another side benefit is it is high enough off the ground in the chair position for me to be able to use a little fold out table in my van. Sorry to go on & on but I am just thrilled with this product! It not only is perfect for my needs, but super comfortable, and very well made at an excellent price on top of it! Love it!

I bought a LoungAir chair for my daughter's room, so she can use it as a chair, and as a mattress when she has a friend sleeping over. It is perfect! It doesn't take much space, and is very comfortable in any position. I used it myself to go camping. I was surprised how fast it gets inflated. I was the first one in the camping to have my bed ready an the first one packed. It is very resistant, ( my daughters and friends jumped in it all the time,) I am sure is not made for jumping, but it is definitely a good quality.

I purchased this bed based on my previous experiences with Intex air mattresses (2 older models). This was my first double stack/raised mattress from them and to say that I was disappointed is an understatement. The built-in pump is pretty weak and it takes a while for the mattress to inflate. In addition, it takes on a bowl-like shape (high on the outside, low in the middle)thus causing me and my wife to sink into the middle, which is already soft. Extremely disappointing purchase.

I bought this for my boyfriend who just moved and doesn't have the money to buy furniture yet. I went and stayed with him over the weekend and slept on this airbed. It is of nice quality and the height is definately a plus. However, the bed doesn't keep the air after 24 hours meaning that you have to refill it every night for bed so that it is firm enough to keep your back from hurting in the morning. The built-in pump makes this easy enough and it does seem to hold well enough through the night. This tiny issue led me to take off one star but overall I am pleased with the purchase, especially considering the price.

ok, so moving to a big city (NYC) and moving around a lot, or not having lots of money, I decided to get an air-mattress for my bed of choice. I almost went with a brand I knew from one that i borrowed, but did some research and didn't want to pay the large price - and found this! It is 1) high off the ground, (i'm 5'2" and it comes above my knees) 2) comfortable, easy-to-inflate, and 3) greatly priced for a good product. I have only had it for a few months, but it is very comfortable and feels like a real mattress/bed. I recommend it for any occassion.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! There are no warranties and the manufacturers customer service is terrible. The one I purchased leaked air from the get go. If I had boughten it from Amazon they would have returned it but b/c I bought it through a third party, The Backstore, they couldn't do anything neither will the manufacturer nor the store I bought it from. The best they would do is send a patch kit but have you ever tried finding a hole in an air mattress :) The lady from the Backstore said if I had called her directly she would have told me not to buy this product nor any product from Intex b/c there is no warranty, well thanks for that info!

The place I got mine from even guaranteed it for a year... free replacement if it leaks at all.



The 22-inch height is great, and the quality of the thick vinyl just FEELS like something that will last. Great support, great sleep. I only wish they made a king-sized...
